  • Part-time, Part-year
    Dragon Plus is a youth program committed to providing out of school time learning, academic, and enrichment activities to Lakeside High School students. The Instructor is responsible for planning and leading academic and enrichment activities in as outlined in lesson plans that are aligned to Ohio Department of Education standards.

  • Looking for a meaningful way to help people on a part time basis? Join the Meals on Wheels Program! Community Action is looking for regular and substitute food deliverers to bring meals to seniors in the Ashtabula, Conneaut/ Geneva-and Jefferson areas. Volunteers are also needed in the program! Must have dependable vehicle, be insurable and pass background check and drug test.

  • Full-time (40 hrs) Part Year (42 weeks). Provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children, promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children, and encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. Prefer Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related or qualifying field, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education with minimum of 27 credit hours in Early Childhood Education .

  • Full Time (40 HRS PER WK) Part Year (42 WKS)
    In accordance with Federal Performance Standards, assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role to provide a successful, educational setting to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Strive to encourage parent engagement in all aspects of the program. Must have CDA (Child Development Associate).

  • Regular, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Full-Year (52 Weeks). In accordance with Federal Performance Standards, provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children while they are in the Early Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor area and field trips). Promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress and facilitate transition into the Head Start Program. Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or in a related field with a minimum of 30 qualified credit hours, or
    Appropriate Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials.

  • Regular, Full-Time. Under the direction of the Supervisor, performs initial inspections of homes / mobile homes to assess work to be performed in accordance with program and funding guidelines. Perform Crew Leader functions as required to meet production.

  • Regular, Full or Part time. Performance of light housekeeping tasks in accordance with the Homemaker service.

  • Part-time (20 hours) Part Year (42 weeks). Assists classroom teacher with implementation of developmentally appropriate practices based on the approved curriculum. High school diploma or equivalent, preference given to candidates with related work experience.

  • Regular, Full-Time. Provide services to families with pregnant moms, infants, toddlers, or preschoolers by providing and encouraging developmental educational activities appropriate to the child’s ability, interests, and family customs. Act to ensure that the child and his or her family receives all services available to Head Start families by assisting families to assess their strengths and needs, by supporting parent developed goals and by providing information appropriate to direct service or referral.

  • This position combines the responsibilities of the School Based Clinic Specialist, the DEC Assistant, and the Dragon Plus Instructor. The Program Services Specialist supports the district wide community learning center initiative, a full-service community school consortium where the school serves as a community hub. The Program Service Specialist develops, promotes, and furthers the efficient use of community resources to create positive impact and improve the coordination, integration, accessibility, and effectiveness of services for children and families. Dragon Plus is a youth program committed to providing out of school time learning, academic, and enrichment activities to Lakeside High School students. The Program Services Specialist is responsible for planning and leading fun and creative academic and enrichment activities in as outlined in lesson plans that are aligned to Ohio Department of Education standards.
