The Instructor is responsible for planning and leading academic and enrichment activities in as outlined in lesson plans that are aligned to Ohio Department of Education standards.

    Dragon Plus is a youth program committed to providing out of school time learning, academic, and enrichment activities to Lakeside High School students. The Site Coordinator is responsible for day to day oversight and implementation of the program, including but not limited to: administrative tasks, data collection and management, ensuring grant assurances are met, management of challenging student behavior, connecting with students and their families, and collaborating with school district staff.

This position assists all instructors, volunteers, and consultants who work in the afterschool program.

  • Regular, Full-Time
    The Trauma Support Specialist will provide trauma-informed early childhood mental health consultation to Head Start children, staff and families by coaching and supporting teachers in the classrooms, and working with families on a shared plan with the program. As needed, will work with local mental health providers to assure high quality ongoing mental health services to children and families.

  • Regular, Full-time. Prepares delicious meals for seniors enrolled in the Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining programs. Also prepares and serves delicious food to the public at the Village Table Café and other catered events. Supports the operations of an efficient kitchen, providing high quality meals in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health and sanitation.

  • Looking for a meaningful way to help people on a part time basis? Join the Meals on Wheels Program! Community Action is looking for regular and substitute food deliverers to bring meals to seniors in the Ashtabula, Conneaut/ Geneva-and Jefferson areas. Volunteers are also needed in the program! Must have dependable vehicle, be insurable and pass background check and drug test.

  • Regular, Full-Time. To maintain a safe and healthy environment by ensuring quality service delivery by incorporating Child Day Care Licensing Laws and Federal Head Start Performance Standards. Provide general program management by coaching, monitoring and training the team. Serve as an integrator of all program components. Requirements: Bachelor's degree-Preference Given to: A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development Associate (CDA) or in a related field with a minimum of 30 credit hours in Child Development or Early Childhood Education.

  • Full-time (40 hrs) Part Year (42 weeks). Provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children, promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children, and encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. Prefer Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related or qualifying field, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education with minimum of 27 credit hours in Early Childhood Education .     In accordance with Federal Performance Standards, assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role to provide a successful, educational setting to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Strive to encourage parent engagement in all aspects of the program. Must have CDA (Child Development Associate).
