Responsible for assisting with efficient kitchen operation, providing high quality meals in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health, and sanitation. Assure that performance standards and nutrition policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the entire program.

Regular, Full-time. Prepares delicious meals for seniors enrolled in the Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining programs. Also prepares and serves delicious food to the public at the Village Table Café and other catered events. The Energy Program Specialist performs clerical functions that support the Energy Assistance Programs. They may schedule appointments; screen applicants for eligibility for ACCAA services; perform intake, outreach, referral and follow-up activities for elderly, disabled, and low-income populations in any of the program sites as needed. Work is subject to checks and controls. Will sometimes be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays and respond to crisis’s.

Looking for a meaningful way to help people on a part time basis? Join the Meals on Wheels Program! Community Action is looking for regular and substitute food deliverers to bring meals to seniors in the Ashtabula, Conneaut/ Geneva-and Jefferson areas. Volunteers are also needed in the program! Must have dependable vehicle, be insurable and pass background check and drug test.

Full-time (40 hrs) Part Year (42 weeks). Provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children, promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children, and encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. Prefer Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related or qualifying field, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education with minimum of 27 credit hours in Early Childhood Education .

Full Time (40 HRS PER WK) Part Year (42 WKS)
In accordance with Federal Performance Standards, assist the teacher and cooperate in a supportive role to provide a successful, educational setting to promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Strive to encourage parent engagement in all aspects of the program. Must have CDA (Child Development Associate).

Regular, Full-Time (40 hours/week), Full-Year (52 Weeks). In accordance with Federal Performance Standards, provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children while they are in the Early Head Start environment (classroom, outdoor area and field trips). Promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children. Encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Requirements: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or in a related field with a minimum of 30 qualified credit hours, or
Appropriate Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials.

Provide services to families with pregnant moms, infants, toddlers, or preschoolers by providing and encouraging developmental educational activities appropriate to the child’s ability, interests, and family customs. Act to ensure that the child and his or her family receives all services available to Head Start families by assisting families to assess their strengths and needs, by supporting parent developed goals and by providing information appropriate to direct service or referral.
