  • This person provides day-to-day management and coordination of all Community & Senior Services (CS) programs. The position includes supervision of assigned staff, reporting functions, and program compliance. Good communication skills are needed for internal and external communications. Managing and conducting customer assessments, customer eligibility screening, and customer outreach as necessary are also part of this position.

  • Looking for a meaningful way to help people on a part time basis? Join the Meals on Wheels Program! Community Action is looking for regular and substitute food deliverers to bring meals to seniors in the Ashtabula, Conneaut/ Geneva-and Jefferson areas. Volunteers are also needed in the program! Must have dependable vehicle, be insurable and pass background check and drug test.

  • Regular, Full-time. Prepares delicious meals for seniors enrolled in the Meals on Wheels and Senior Dining programs. Also prepares and serves delicious food to the public at the Village Table Café and other catered events. Supports the operations of an efficient kitchen, providing high quality meals in accordance with established standards of nutrition, health and sanitation.

  • Regular, Full or Part time. Performance of light housekeeping tasks in accordance with the Homemaker service.

  • Regular, Full-time. Provides nutrition education and counseling to the clients and programs of the Ashtabula County Community Action Agency.

  • Regular, full-time. Inspire and support lifelong healthy eating and activity choices for individuals and residents of Ashtabula County through nutrition education and counseling. Services are provided through the agency's community-based nutrition programs including WIC, Medical Nutrition Therapy, Farmers' Market, Senior Nutrition and Community Outreach and Education.

  • Regular, Full-time. We are looking for an individual to join our team in the fast growing energy efficiency sector. Performs weatherization measures in accordance with program standards, conduct repairs to the interior/exterior of the housing structure, or install materials to make customer homes safe and energy efficient.

  • Full-time (40 hrs) Part Year (42 weeks). Provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for children, promote the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of children, and encourage parent involvement in all aspects of the program. Develop individual goals for children, provide continuous assessment on progress and facilitate transition into kindergarten. Prefer Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or related or qualifying field, Associate degree in Early Childhood Education with minimum of 27 credit hours in Early Childhood Education .

  • Part-time (20 hours) Part Year (42 weeks). Assists classroom teacher with implementation of developmentally appropriate practices based on the approved curriculum. High school diploma or equivalent, preference given to candidates with related work experience.

  • Are you passionate about community health, early childhood development, and preventative care? We are seeking a Health Manager that is patient, sensitive, and skilled in building trust while working with children from diverse backgrounds. As part of the Head Start team, the Health Manager will conduct health screenings for enrolled children and provide health education to staff and families. Collaboration and communication with community partners, healthcare providers, and families is important to identify, recommend, and implement improvement plans.
