New Hope Homeless Assistance Program
There may be a time when circumstances force you to leave your home and you find yourself seeking a place to live. For families facing homelessness, Ashtabula County Community Action Agency's New Hope Program provides assistance to help people get back on their feet after experiencing a loss of housing. The program provides rental subsidy and case supportive services to homeless individuals and families to help them get re-established. Together with the New Hope staff, you will set goals, identify barriers to your success, and determine the resources available to help you move forward. We understand the challenges to re-stabilize your family, which is why you’ll also have support with self-sufficiency planning, job search, budgeting, and more.
For more information about the New Hope Program contact one of the Coordinated Entry System Access points. The Access Point will conduct an assessment to help determine the level of need of the household experiencing homelessness and helps to connect them to the most appropriate housing or service intervention to end homelessness quickly.
