Head Start
The Head Start Program is a free, comprehensive child and family development school readiness program available to income eligible families in Ashtabula County. School readiness means that children are ready for school, families are ready to support their children’s learning, and schools are ready for children.
Head Start offers services to families with children ages 3-5 years old:

Early Head Start
Part of the overall Head Start Program, Early Head Start provides a supportive learning experience for expectant mothers and infant and toddlers under three years of age. Trained staff help families and students prepare for and meet development benchmarks while making sure other support services are provided.
