Home Repair Program
We have some small home repair funds, available under our Special Programs, to help homeowners maintain the health and safety conditions of their residence. The program offers non-emergency, minor home repair and accessibility modification on a limited basis including grab bars, disability modifications, roof repair, and electrical repairs.
Monies received from Directions Home of Northeast Ohio helps to fund repairs for individuals in Ashtabula County age 60 and older. Monies from United Way help to fund repairs for income eligible households.
In addition, for Ashtabula and Geauga County, the Housing Assistance Home Repair Program can fund larger repair projects such as roof repair, electrical and wiring, foundation and drainage, plumbing, etc. for income eligible homeowners.
